Blank Boring
Our CNC's are in storage and not accessible. We are waiting on concrete for the shop to be installed so that we can move them. We are HOPING to be back up and running in June, but at the rate things are going, its anyone's guess. Could be May, could be next January... Talk about frustrating!
Tired of sanding and sanding to get your bore in acrylic ready to be polished? Let us bore them for you. We can bore your blanks of Cast Acrylic, Delrin/Acetal, Aluminum, and other plastic materials for you and save you time sanding and polishing the inside bore. We can bore most materials used for call making for you on CNC machines using proven tooling, techniques and setup for a great finish right off the machine. We do not currently bore any "dust creating" materials such as wood, micarta, etc.

No setup fee for standard boring on round materials with outside diameters of 1", 1.125", 1.25", 1.375" and 1.5" and .618, 5/8, 3/4, or 7/8" bores!
Pricing is somewhat dependant on the material and the bore dimensions. If you are requesting your blanks bored with dimensions that are not listed below, please contact us for a quote specific to your needs. The following list contains pricing for the more common materials and bore dimensions.
Minimum Quantity: One 4' stick (full un-cut 4' stick) cut into one specific part. Individual pre-cut blanks can be bored, but will incur an additional charge per part. Minimum quantity is 15 blanks cut in to one specific part. It is not possible to "mix and match" different parts on a single stick of material or batch of pre-cut blanks without additional charges for setup changes and/or programming.
Blanks are generally cut .020-.050" longer than dimension required to allow for clean-up/facing of the blanks while turning.
