Set of 3 Sleeves and Wedges: $29.00
Drill Chucks and Arbors: Are for use when drilling on your lathe using a lathe chuck or other material holding fixture, such as a face plate. They are available in all sizes of Morse Taper and with capacities from .040" to 3/4". The arbors, which is the portion of the assembly that has the Morse Taper on one end and the drill chuck mounting taper on the other end. The drill chuck is just the chuck itself, and has a mounting taper inside for mounting it to the arbor to create the assembly you see here. The most common sizes are available as assembled units. These assemblies are ordered as individual pieces and we assemble them here, and then check the alignment on the lathe with a run-out indicator. If you would prefer to assemble your own, please indicate that when you order. Generally speaking, the larger the drill chuck, the larger the mounting taper will have to be, and that can sometimes increase the price of the assembly. If you have a small lathe (#1 MT) and want a large (3/4 " or larger) drill chuck, it will likely cost much more than the the most common assemblies, which are:
1/2" Drill Chuck with #2 Morse Taper: $50.00 5/8" Drill Chuck with #2 Morse Taper: $55.00 5/8" Drill Chuck with #3 Morse Taper: $55.00
